It was 2:00p.m. and Albert and me were playing,fighting as much as playing,as usual.Mom unexpectedly called us from the kitchen.I figured that mom wanted both of us to do the dishes,so I came prepared.Albert looked ready to be punished and about ready to cry.Mom said that she couldn't decide to do for dinner.Albert was relieved.I suggested steak.Albert said ribs.Mom said there are no steaks or ribs.Mom left the room.Albert suggested a few more things.Then, I had a fantastic idea.I ran to ask dad.He said yes.It was now 2:20p.m.,so we had plenty of time for a family picnic.Then, it started to rain.Dad said oh well for the family picnic.I got another great idea.I got out a bowl,2 pans,2 rectangle cake pans,and a wooden spoon.First,mom chopped mostly thawed chicken into cubes.Second,I cooked the chicken until done.Third,mom chopped Bacon into small rectangle strips.Then,I cooked that.Next,mom put the chicken,the bacon,tater-tots,cheese,milk,and ranch dressing mixure into each of the cake pans.Then,bake.Finnally,enjoy.Everything tured out alright in the end.
The thunder crashed and rain poured down by the gallon. Lightning flashed, sending light through the windows of a house, and upon a small girl's figure huddled on the floor underneath a table. In her arms she clutched a stuffed dog, it's tiny bell on the collar tinkling with every terrified shudder that coursed through the girl. She looked up from her fort across the room into the hall at the door to her mother's room. Slowly, the girl inched toward the door. The dog's bell jingled with each movement the girl made and sounded merry despite the storm. The room flooded with light once again and thunder boomed in its threatening with its booming voice. The girl's scream pierced through the air and she hugged the dog to her chest, it's bell clanging loudly. Once the girl gathered her courage, she inched forward once more.
