There once was a girl named Shelby. She was a nice person in her town. She loved candy like gum, carmel, cookies, lollypops, chocolate, and candy money. She also liked apples and bananas. One day, Shelby went out to play. She was as bored as a cat. Her sister was at school. Her dad was at work. Her mother was cleaning the house. She had nothing to do. She decided to start school. She started second grade. Shelby also had to run away from home. She packed all the food and bottled drinks she could find. Shelby brought her lunchbox and cups too. She got money for a new house and stuff to go in it. She bought more food and water. Shelby bought a home. She said, "I am going to leave a donation box here." She made lots of money $100 a day! So she grew up to be a rich lady.
The thunder crashed and rain poured down by the gallon. Lightning flashed, sending light through the windows of a house, and upon a small girl's figure huddled on the floor underneath a table. In her arms she clutched a stuffed dog, it's tiny bell on the collar tinkling with every terrified shudder that coursed through the girl. She looked up from her fort across the room into the hall at the door to her mother's room. Slowly, the girl inched toward the door. The dog's bell jingled with each movement the girl made and sounded merry despite the storm. The room flooded with light once again and thunder boomed in its threatening with its booming voice. The girl's scream pierced through the air and she hugged the dog to her chest, it's bell clanging loudly. Once the girl gathered her courage, she inched forward once more.
